This presence detector with prewired cables and connectors allows you to quickly connect luminaires, push buttons, detectors and other devices. More features can easily be added to the DALI installation with a NIKO distribution box.
SAVE TIME AND ENSURE HIGH QUALITY DURING INSTALLATION
In addition to all the advantages of the SnapFit mounting, it is easy to connect the individual components in the installation. Each connector is unique and therefore cannot be connected incorrectly. This ensures a fast and correct installation – and in major projects, it can provide significant time savings on installation and subsequent error correction.
FUNCTIONS
• Range: Ø37 meter at an installation height of 3 meters
• The range can be extended with up to 10 secondary detectors with 2 meter cable and connector (353-751021-1). Pay attention to the maximum guaranteed current on the DALI-bus.
LIGHTING CONTROL
In combination with the detectors internal relay, the following solutions can be conducted with a distribution box. These solutions are suitable for offices, classrooms, conference rooms and meeting rooms.
• Control of HVAC via detector in combination with distribution box (353-70801)
The solution allows for integration with ventilation/HVAC systems via the detectors internal relay.
• Control of on/off lighting in combination with distribution box (353-70802)
The luminaires in the daylight zones have DALI-2 ballasts/drivers for dimming. Luminaires with standard ballasts without the possibility of dimming are controlled by the detectors internal relay.
• Standby minimization of luminaires in combination with distribution box (353-70803)
The detectors internal relay is used to cut off power to the luminaries, so that the standby consumption for all luminaires is eliminated (0 Watt), when there is no presence, which provides a significant energy saving.
• Control of non-dimmable luminaires externally on the DALI-bus (353-70806)
The solution enables flexible and quick installation of non-dimmable luminaires externally on the DALI-bus.
The lighting control can be overridden via 230V push button. Use Niko type no. 170-70015
For operation with Bluetooth® push button, use Niko type no.: 360-21001.
INSTALLATION DIVIDED INTO 2 CIRCUIT BREAKERS
The installation can be further extended:
• Achieve higher security of supply by distribution the power to the DALI luminaires divided into 2 circuit breakers by adding a distribution box (353-70804).
