PA 6G Round bar D: 110 mm Cast Nature (L:3000mm)

PA6G is a comonly used Nylon grade, which has been produced via casting. Compared to Extruded qualities, the material excels improved wear properties and re-working capabilities, but on most other properties the quality is the same. PA6G is well suited for applications, where a high degree of strength to mechanical strain or wear is required or to some degree, good chemical properties are needed. The material can under most conditions withstand temperatures between -40 - +100˚C. Standard qualities are not approved for direct contact with foods according to EU food legislation, however modified qualities may be provided. The material may be worked with ordinary machining tools, however there is a tendency to long shavings. Under moist or aquatic conditions, the material has a tendency to expand and is generally speaking not suitable for gluing.
