PEEK is a highly specialized plastic material, with a large range of specific and improved mechanical, chemical and physical properties compared to other plastic materials. PEEK is Specifically suitable for conditions, where a high demand for mechanical strength and durability, temperature and chemical resistance is of the essence. PEEK is suitable in conjunction with most chemicals however has very low to no resistance to acetone, concentrated sulfuric and nitric acid. The suitable temperature range is between -65 - +265 ̊C - shortterm up to 300 ˚C. This product is approved for direct contact with foods according to EU food legislation and according to US FDA legislation.
