PEUH (LF1000) Round bar D: 90mm Nature (L:2000mm)

PE-UH is a deriviant of PE-HD, which substantially differs from PE-HD by having significantly improved wear resistance and higher toughness. This quality is however neither weldable or glueable. In terms of chemical and thermal resistance there are no significant differences, however for applications where good sliding propterties as well as good wear resistance is required and where Nylon is not suitable, PE-UH is often used. In rods, the material is frequently used as shafts, bearings or wearable parts and in sheets, likewise as wearable parts or as wear underlay in gravel transport trailers. The material comes in std. qualities in white (nature), green and black. Black is often composed of dyed recycled material, where as nature and green is virgin material. The std. grade in nature and green is approved for direct contact with foods according to EU food legislation.
