This secondary detector is a secondary detector with a long range for automatic lighting control. Extend the range of a 230V master detector (X) or combine it with other P42 230V master detectors in the P40/M40 detector series.

Niko´s unique SnapFit system ensures a quick and stable installation in all types of suspended ceilings with or without removeable tiles. The sensor is easily and quickly installed with a simple turn-and-click movement , which saves both time and trouble during installation and dismanting. The screwless and easy accessible plug-in terminals makes the detector easy to assemble. Cable relief and installation of the cable cover can be done completely without use of tools.
Reliable detecting range tested according to IEC63180
The Niko P40 and M40 detector series have been tested and meet the IEC63180 standard. It is your guarantee of a reliable detector range, independently tested in a controlled environment via both manual and automated repeated tests.

• Detection range: Ø37 meters from height of 3 meters
• Wireless communication between master and secondary detectors with repeater function
• Contains 3 PIR segments, each covering 120°
• One or more PIR segments can be disabled
• Settings and configuration can be locked with a PIN code
Wireless commissioning
• If a secondary detector is wired only the PIR Sensitivity can be adjusted via the app
• If the detector is used as a wireless secondary detector, commissioning takes place via the master detector
• Event log keeps track of recent configuration changes
