PTFE Round bar D: 50mm Nature (L:2000mm)

Teflon (PTFE) is amongst the more specialized fluorplatics. The material is generally known for the low friction - the lowest amongst all plastic materials. PTFE has excellent chemical resistance to acids, bases and solvents and excels good electrical and dielectric properties, is UV resistant, has low water absorption and is not affected by microorganisms. The good properties makes the material suitable within a large range of specialized areas: Tanks, pipe systems, seals, sliding elements amongst some. The material is however within plastic terms a soft material and thus excels low mechanical strength and wear resistance. This PTFE quality is approved for direct contact with foods according to EU food legislation and approved according to FDA legislation.
