Shelly BLU Door/Window Mini ZB is a battery-powered door and window sensor in a miniature format. At just 31 x 26 x 8 mm it fits narrow window frames and tight reveals where ordinary contact sensors are too bulky. Beyond open/close detection it measures the inclination angle, so a tilted vent position can be told apart from a fully open window, and a built-in light sensor lets automations react to the ambient light level.
The sensor carries both Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth 5 LE and can run on both at the same time, which makes it easy to fit into an existing installation. Communication is AES encrypted, and a CR2032 battery lasts up to five years. Available in White and Black.
Set up and controlled easily through the Shelly Smart Control app or your preferred smart home system — Home Assistant, Homey, SmartThings, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The sensor also supports BTHome for Bluetooth-based automations.
Use cases
• Narrow frames: mount on bathroom and bedroom windows where a standard sensor will not fit.
