The Shelly Plus RGBW PM is a compact WiFi-controlled 4-channel controller for 12/24V LED strips with power measurement. With its four channels, the device can control RGB, RGBW, or four white LED strips, easily set through the device's settings. Thanks to its very compact design, the device can be easily installed in membrane boxes, recessed boxes, masonry boxes, and similar.
Functionality
The Shelly Plus RGBW PM comes with many built-in features. It needs to be powered by a standard 12 or 24V LED driver and automatically measures the power consumption on each channel, which can be monitored through the Shelly Smart Control app. It can handle the following loads:
- 12V: 48W per channel (max 120W total load)
- 24V: 96W per channel (max 240W total load)
Shelly devices operate 100% locally and only require a local network to function. Shelly can be used alone in the Shelly Smart Control app or with more than 200 partner systems such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Athom Homey, and many more.
Connectivity
The Shelly Plus RGBW PM can connect to the internet via 2.4 GHz WiFi and operates 100% locally. Additionally, like the rest of the Pro and Plus devices, it has built-in Bluetooth, allowing it to also serve as a gateway for Shelly Bluetooth battery-powered devices.
All Shelly devices operate locally without a connection to Shelly Cloud, but it is recommended to enable this for easy data storage and increased functionality. The devices can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. All support TLS.

The device is equipped with generation 2 hardware, which includes a powerful ESP32 processor. This allows for the use of scripting functions for advanced and customized functionality, as well as a range-extender function with the device, thereby extending the wireless network.
