The Shelly Pro 3EM 120A V2 is a DIN-rail three-phase energy meter that uses current transformers to measure consumption on three individual phases at loads up to 120 A per phase with up to 99% accuracy. The key upgrade in the V2 is Matter support, making the meter far easier to integrate across ecosystems. It replaces the original Shelly Pro 3EM and mounts directly in the distribution board.
Set up and controlled easily through the Shelly Smart Control app or your preferred smart home system such as Home Assistant, Homey, SmartThings, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and – via Matter – Apple Home. Shelly devices work 100% locally and only need a local network to operate.
Use Cases:
• Three-phase energy monitoring in homes, apartments/hotels (MDU) and light commercial sites
• Measuring consumption and production in PV systems with 4-quadrant metering (PV-ready)
• Real-time measurement of power, current, voltage and power factor per phase at one-minute resolution
• Detecting phase-sequence errors and sub-threshold loads in the panel
• Optional additional current transformer for neutral-current measurement
• Add the Pro 3EM Switch Add-on for local contactor control independent of the network
Connectivity & Communication:
• LAN/Ethernet (RJ45) and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for reliable operation in professional installations
