The 20V Max SKIL 3590 cordless sliding mitre saw is extremely compact and lightweight. But don’t be deceived by its size. Like all other SKIL 20V Max cordless tools, this model is powered by the industry-leading, advanced ‘PWRCORE 20™’ battery and charger technology. This powerful battery system, combined with a smart overslide function, means this tool can easily handle demanding sawing tasks. In most mitre saws, the saw head is attached to the bars, which extend to the backend of the product when sawing. The SKIL 3590, on the other hand, has fixed bars and a sliding saw head, which means the saw can be placed close to a wall. Attaching a workpiece is a cinch with the unique quick clamp system, which is much faster than conventional clamping systems. And its accurate laser clearly indicates the line of cut. It’s easy to adjust, a huge plus that ensures optimal accuracy and flexibility to set the laser line to the left or to the right side of the blade. Saw angles are steplessly adjustable for precise bevel and mitre cuts and pre-defined stops ensure effortless adjustment to the most used angles. The table extensions for longer workpieces are fully inclinable and there’s even an extra handle for easy carrying. The SKIL 3590 also comes with a large capacity dust bag and integrated vacuum cleaner connection in the aluminium guard. The SKIL 3590 CA is supplied with a 40-tooth carbide-tipped 216 mm saw blade, table extensions, a workpiece quick clamp and a dust bag. The battery and charger aren’t included.
