Preventa XPS MCM safety controller is a modular safety controller there can handle up to 128 safety signals and 16x2 safety output signals. The controller shall be programmed, from the free configuration software SoSafe. The XPSMCMCO0000 units are used to build remote functional safety islands between controller and I/O expansion modules at distance op to 250 meters, and up to 6 Island contentions, there must not be more than 50 meters between each Island. The system can handle up to 128 safety signals and 16x2 safety outputs. In each solution there must be one XPSMCMCO0000S1, in the beginning or in the end of the communication line. Rest of the connection to the Island shall be made with XPSMCMCO0000S1. The connection between each XPSMCMCO0000 shall be made with RS-485 shielded cable.
