DEVIreg ™ 316 is a simple, electronic thermostat with enhanced installation functionality
in cabinets with DIN rail fittings. The thermostat is primarily used for frost protection on roofs, i
gutters and downpipes. In addition, it can be used to control room and floor temperature,
ventilation, cooling or snowmelt on the ground, pipe fencing and similar installations.
The primary characteristics of the thermostat are the temperature setting range - with setting of
both an upper and lower temperature, between which the thermostat allows the system to heat.
This mode is primarily used to control frost protection systems on roofs, gutters and
downpipe (an external outdoor air sensor must be used).
The thermostat is equipped with two additional buttons for adjusting the hysteresis and
the temperature value for use during economy periods (an external timer is required).
The thermostat has a relay with two contact pairs - NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed), and it is intended to use the thermostat for heat and
cooling systems. In addition, the NO and NC contact pairs are not powered by a voltage source within the thermostat and can be used for
control systems with any voltage up to 250 V. It is designed so that the sensor circuit is galvanically separated from the high voltage part.
