TW50-H is a solid-machined threaded thermowell/protection tube according to DIN 43772 Form 6. It separates the process from the temperature sensor or thermometer and protects measuring equipment, environment and personnel under high process loads. The sensor can be replaced without direct contact with the process medium.
Important selection information:
• Process connection: G 1/2 B male thread for screw-in mounting into the process
• Connection to sensor/thermometer: G 1/2 female thread
• U1 is the thermowell insertion length: 142 mm
• Overall thermowell length L = U1 + 28 mm = 170 mm
• Suitable sensor/thermometer stem length incl. thread: l1 = U1 + 18 mm = 160 mm
• The sensor thread must match the thermowell internal thread
• The sensor stem diameter must be smaller than the bore diameter (Ø9 mm)
