Harmony wireless and batteryless pushbuttons offers both mobility and installation cost savings at the same time.
The system consist of a transmitter and a receiver communicating on a 2,4 GHz ZigBee Green Power protocol.
With the increasing number of components in the wireless eco-system, it has never been easier to add wireless components to your EcoStruxure solution. without having to change the exisiting installation.
It is possible to select between a stand-alone solution or a direct connection to a PLC or iPC (i.e. the Harmony Edge Box) through the access point, Harmony Hub.
The wireless pushbuttons have a general range of up to 100 meter between transmitter and receiver, when the components are mounted in a free air environment.
If the receiver is mounted inside a metal cabinet, the range is reduced to a maximum of 25 meters, but it can easily be increased with the use of the relay antenna ZBRA1.
ZB5RTA3 is a complete wireless plastic pushbutton with spring-retur and a green flush front face.
The pushbutton is mounted with a wireless transmitter with 1 rising edge signal.
This makes it possible to use the following functions together with a ZBRRA receiver:
- Momentary (one-shot pulse).
- Bistable.
- Start/Stop.
The wireless transmitter convert the mechanical energy from the pushbutton to a radio signal and do not contain any battery.
The protection rating are IP66, IP67, IP69 (ISO) and IP69K (DIN) and the operating temperature can be between -40..70 degrees celcius.
ZB5RTA3 can be used together with one of the stand-alone receivers ZBRRA, ZBRRC or ZBRRD for simple applications.
For more advanced applications or in combination with a PLC, the wireless access point, Harmony Hub, is recommended.
