Zelio RM17 is a compact series of control relays which is easy to mount on a DIN-rail.
The relays are available for either 1 phase or 3 phase applications and are able to measure the voltage, current, phase-loss, phase-sequence and asymmetry between phases.
With a width of only 17,5 mm they only take up a very limited space on the DIN-rail and they also fit behind the cover of a standard panel.
RM17TE00 is a a control relay for 3-phase applications.
The relay is measuring the typical failures which can occur in a 3-phase application (phase-loss, phase-sequence, asymmetry, overvoltage and undervoltage).
The 3 phases are mounted on the supply L1, L2 and L3 terminals on the top of the relay and the output contacts are located in the bottom.
The output is activated instantanious when powered on if all 3 phases are present and mounted in the right order.
On the front of the relay are 4 dials for setting up the relay:
The first dial adjust the voltage between the 3 phases in the application (208, 220, 380, 400, 415, 440 or 480VAC).
The second dial set a time delay on the output from 0,1..10 seconds in case of overvoltage, undervoltage or asymmetry.
The third dial adjust the maximum deviation in the voltage (over-/undervoltage) compared to the setpoint on the top dial (from 2..20%).
The fourth dial sets the maximum asymmetry between the 3 phases are set (from 5..15%)
If a phase-loss or phase-sequence fault is detected, the output instantly changes state and if an over-/undervoltage or asymmetry fault is detected, the output changes state after the delay time set on the dial.
The control relay has a 1 C/O output contact with a maximum load of 5A.
RM17TE00 is self powered through the measuring terminals on the top and the supply voltage can be from 183 to 528 VAC
On the front of the relay is 2 LED's for indication of the relay status.
The green LED indicates that the supply is present and the yellow LED indicates the status of the relay output.
