Zelio RM17 is a compact series of control relays which is easy to mount on a DIN-rail.
The relays are available for either 1 phase or 3 phase applications and are able to measure the voltage, current, phase-loss, phase-sequence and asymmetry between phases.
With a width of only 17,5 mm they only take up a very limited space on the DIN-rail and they also fit behind the cover of a standard panel.
RM17UB310 is a control relay for 3-phase applications.
The relay is used mainly for measuring overvoltage and undervoltage between the 3 phases but also detect phase-loss and phase-sequence faults.
Voltage thresholds are set as a window function on each side of the measured value.
The measurement is done directly at the supply terminals in the top and the output contacts are located in the bottom.
The output is activated instantanious when powered on if all 3 phases are present and mounted in the right order.
On the front of the relay are 4 dials for setting up the relay:
The first dial adjust the voltage between the 3 phases in the application (208, 220, 380, 400, 415, 440 or 480VAC).
The second dial adjust the time delay of the output between 0,3..30 seconds in case of an voltage fault.
The third and fourth dials adjust the setpoint of the upper and lower voltage. The value can be 2..20% of the value on the first dial.
If a phase-loss or phase-sequence fault is detected, the output instantly changes state and if a voltage fault is detected, the output changes state after the delay time set on the dial.
The control relay has a 1 C/O output contact with a maximum load of 5A.
RM17UB310 is self powered through the measuring terminals on the top can be used with both 50Hz and 60Hz supply voltage.
On the front of the relay is 2 LED's for indication of the relay status.
The green LED indicates that the supply is present and the yellow LED indicates the status of the relay output.
