Zelio RM35 is a series of advanced control relays which is easy to mount on a DIN-rail.
The series are made for applications where additional settings are required compared to the simple control relays.
Furthermore the RM35 series includes relays for special application like pump control, elevator machine rooms, speed monitoring and motor protection.
RM35JA31MW is a control relay for detecting overcurrent or undercurrent.
The measurement is done through the M and E1/E2/E3 terminals which offers 3 measuring ranges:
M and E1 = 2..20 mA.
M and E2 = 10..100 mA.
M and E3 = 50..500 mA.
The relay has a selectable memory function which can be activated or deactivated.
When the memory function is activated, the supply need to be removed from the relay to reset the outputs after a fault is detected.
On the front of the relay are 5 dials for setting up the relay:
The first dial set the function of the relay to either overcurrent or undercurrent.
On the same dial it is possible to chose if it is with or without the memory function.
The second dial adjust the threshold for either overcurrent or undercurrent from 10..100% of the measurement range.
The third dial adjust the maximum allowable hysteresis from 5..50%
The fourth dial in the bottom left adjust a time delay at start-up from 1..20 seconds.
The fifth dial in the bottom right adjust a time delay on the output from 0,3..30 seconds.
The control relay has 2 C/O output contacts with a maximum load of 5A.
RM35JA31MW need a separate 24..240V AC/DC supply on the A1 and A2 terminals.
On the front of the relay is 2 LED's for indication of the relay status.
The top green LED indicate that the relay is powered on.
The bottom yellow LED indicate an overcurrent or undercurrent.
