The Zmartgear FindMy Tracker Mini-Card is a smart and compact solution that makes it easy to keep track of your belongings. With Apple’s FindMy feature, the tracker can be quickly activated via your iPhone or iPad, allowing you to easily track your items through Apple’s “Find” app. The tracker is not compatible with Android devices.
How it works:
Bluetooth Connection: The tracker connects to your device via Bluetooth. You can set up alerts to notify you if you move out of Bluetooth range, for example, if you leave your wallet behind.
Lost Connection: If the connection is lost, the app displays the last known location of the tracker. You then have two options to locate it:
Audible Alarm: If the tracker is within Bluetooth range, you can activate a loud 95dB alarm.
“Lost” Mode: If the tracker is out of range, you can mark it as “Lost” in the app. The FindMy network will then activate, and any Apple device within range will automatically report the tracker back to you. You’ll also have the option to get directions to its location.
Note! If someone is near your tracker for an extended period, they will automatically receive a notification on their iPhone that an unknown tracker is nearby. This is a built-in privacy feature of Apple products to protect user privacy.
