Learn more about how Lemvigh-Müller wants to work with our suppliers

The basis of our procurement strategy is that our business must be efficient and meet our customers' needs for secure delivery, competitive pricing in relation to quality, and professional advice.

We aim to work closely with our suppliers on product and market development for the benefit of the entire value chain. We set high standards and have great expectations regarding price-quality ratio, efficient collaboration and division of labor, electronic commerce and information exchange, as well as shared goals.

Specifically, we expect our suppliers to:

  • Comply with laws, regulations, and international conventions, as well as Lemvigh-Müller’s "Supplier Code of Conduct"

  • Be reliable and loyal to the agreements we make

  • Continuously strive to improve the quality and efficiency of their services

  • Be creative, engaged, innovative, and competitive

  • Be well-managed companies with a solid operational foundation

  • Ensure on-time delivery in the right quantity and quality

  • Be fully prepared to provide product documentation, including updated images, product descriptions, and attributes

In return, we offer access to a large and attractive customer base, a motivated and competent sales and service organization, a highly efficient logistics concept, and one of Denmark’s most widely used e-commerce platforms.

Lemvigh-Müller conducts negotiations with existing and new suppliers at least once a year. Supplier selection is based on various criteria such as price, quality, delivery reliability, market potential, digital information exchange, and willingness to take action in joint development efforts.
