3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ Acrylic Glue DP8407NS for metal is a grey construction adhesive with high shear and peel strength as well as good impact strength and durability. This adhesive is designed to adhere permanently to raw metals with minimal surface preparation, but it also adheres well to a wide variety of materials, including most forms of plastic.
Using a Duo-Pak size (DP) adhesive, you can use 3M dispensing equipment for user-friendly and accurate metering, mixing and dispensing. Adheres to a wide variety of materials and prevents corrosion. 3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ Acrylic Glue DP8407NS for metal; adheres to a wide variety of materials (especially raw metals such as aluminum, cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, copper, brass and bronze), while counteracting corrosion. This grey construction adhesive can even glue slightly oiled metals together with minimal or no surface preparation. It provides excellent joint and impact strength, even at temperatures down to -40ºC.
3M ™ Scotch-Weld ™ Acrylic Glue DP8407NS for metal is ideal for industrial applications where permanent strength with high strength is needed. Using the glue, you can eliminate the grinding process and surface polishing time associated with welding, spot welding and mechanical fastening.
- Adheres to a wide variety of materials (especially raw metals) while counteracting corrosion
- Resists the heat in the powder coating process, up to 204ºC (400ºF) for at least one hour
- Provides good shear, peel and impact strength to achieve tough and durable jointing
