TERMIX Booster increases the flow of district heating water and thus the performance of the DHW heat exchanger. The booster solution involves installing a pump on the district heating supply and a flow switch on the cold water inlet to the heat exchanger. This way, the pump is only activated when hot water is drained. With this solution, the output of the DHW heat exchanger is increased by approximately 10 kW. The operating costs are minimal as the booster pump is only activated when hot water is drained.
