The control panel for the ventilation unit has a short wire so it can be installed close to the unit. If the unit is placed somewhere where the control panel is not easily visible, for instance in a closet or an unused loft, a 15 m extension cable with plug is available as an optional extra. It is important that the control panel is visible so the user can see potential alarms when, for example, filters need replacing.
