With a traditional installation tester (regardless of make), the error display increases at lower impedance / larger short-circuit level. In practice, this means that short-circuit levels above approx. 10 kA is not displayed with satisfactory accuracy. The resolution and accuracy of the impedance measurement is simply not good enough. IMP 57 is an instrument adapter that with 4 conductor principle and a test current of up to 244A, with great accuracy can measure impedance down to 0.1mΩ and show short-circuit level up to approx. 100 kA. The instrument can be used at both phase / phase, phase / zero and phase / earth. IMP 57 is used together with an HT Italia installation tester, where display, operation and memory are used. The adapter is connected via the RS232 port and can i.a. used with Combi 419/420, Combitest 2019 and Macrotest 5035. With GSC53 and GSC57, Ik max 3F, reactance, resitance and prospective values ​​are also displayed. IMP 57 is delivered in an integrated case incl. test leads, software and PC cable. Complies with IEC 61010-1 CAT III.
