HT PV-Isotest is the perfect instrument if you need to commission and troubleshoot solar cell systems up to 1500VDC, which is the standard on many new systems. An ordinary insulation tester only works on the DC circuit at night. As soon as the sun shines on the panels, there is voltage on the circuit and an ordinary insulation tester has to give up. PV-Isotest also works on a string with DC voltage up to 1500V. PV-Isotest can also measure continuity in PE conductor with 200mA. With the unique GFL (Ground fault locator) function, the location of ground faults on a string can also be located. With memory for 999 measurements and the accompanying software, the results are easily saved and documented on a PC. High safety is ensured as the instrument is CAT III 1500VDC/1000VAC. The instrument is delivered ready to use with test leads, crocodile beak, MC4 to banana, PC cable, software and batteries in a strong case.
