Acc. DS 428.4 "Standard for fire-fighting measures in ventilation systems", roof penetrations shall be provided with min. 50 mm insulation, ie the pipe installed through TGF must be insulated with a minimum of 50 mm. Enter roof slope a when ordering. Max. 55 °. Note: TGF is factory sealed tightly around the pipe. Before mounting, the joint must be checked for any damage that may occur during transport and handling. After installation, the joint must also be checked for possible damage caused by the assembly. Joints that are subject to heavy stress (eg wind) can become overloaded and, in the worst case, become leaky. Therefore, it would be a good idea to check these at intervals, eg every two years.
