Precise measurements on low, medium and high voltage applications must be performed with high precision and high security. The requirements are fully met Metrel MI 3252, using both the adjustable test currents ranging from 100mA-100A, but also to the instrument safety category - CAT IV. There is focus on safety. In case of malfunction, the instrument automatically detects continuity in the power circuit and withstands external voltages. Use the instrument to test contact resistance of, for example, high voltage switches, where IEC 62271-100 dictates testing at least 50 A or more, or performing the same test on power lines. The ability to test with test currents of up to 100A gives more reliable results, as the load will come closer to normal operating conditions. Metrel MI 3252, has a measuring range ranging from 10μΩ-20Ω, with a resolution of 1nΩ, and an accuracy of 0.25% of the read. This feature makes the instrument perfect for verification measurements and gives the user all the prerequisites for delivering accurate and accurate results. Limits can be set in the tester settings as the results are set against. Then they are approved or discarded. Up to 1000 results can be stored in the internal memory, which can subsequently be analyzed in the bundled software. The instrument is portable and comes in a robust cabinet that protects it against impact and general use in the field. It also has IP class 64. The tester complies with the standards IEC 62271-100, IEC 62271-1, EN 61010-1, and ANSI C37. 09 and ASTM B 539.
