This VigilOhm probe is designed to monitor current and identify insulation default on underground / IT electrical networks from the main feeder to the charge level. It has to be associated with our VigilOhm mobile fault locator IMDMFLK1 to enable real time display of the resistance and capacitance. This probe operates under a voltage up to 600V AC/DC Cat III and is composed of a handle, a safety system lock and an openable tore monitoring up to 3600A. The CP15 probe has been specifically designed for thin cable up to 12mm of diameter within tricky places, its compact design enables high accuracy and manageability with an accuracy from 0.5% to 3%. Enabling insulation monitoring on It earthing system, the three fault location probes of the VigilOhm range enable a simple and effective monitoring of cable insulation. The system is adapted for short or long distance cable and network reaching tenths of kilometers. To ensure the veracity of the measured value, note that this probe is compatible only with the IMDMFLK1 kit and require the signal to be provided by an IM400 or XM300 CPI. With an internal diameter of 54mm, it weights 650g and measure 225mm of height, 31mm of width and is 105mm large. The operating temperature is between -10°C and 55°C and the device can tolerate up to 85% of non condensed humidity. The storage temperature is between -20°C and 70°C. The probe color is grey. The IMDCP15 is certified IEC61010-1, IEC61010-2 and EN61326, it is a categorie III device with a degree of pollution of 2. To use it properly, the cable shall pass through the opening of the probe and the probe shall be fully closed to ensure a good current flow. The cable shall respect the maximal diameter named above and shall be positioned in the center of the probe's opening without touching the device. For more versatility in cable monitoring, the probe IMDCP100 and IMDCP50 can also be used and enable to monitor cable with a diameter of respectively 66mm and 44mm of diameter. Overall, the VigilOhm mobile fault location kit is composed of three measurement toroids and the insulation default locator wallet. And enable the effective location of insulation default independently of the complexity of your IT earthing system. This kit is adapted for short or long distance IT earthing network, complex or simple and enables the user to manage as many feeders as required.
