Leviton Opt-X 500i SDX Rack-Mount Enclosures and Panels allow for inter-connect or cross-connect between backbone cable and active equipment while using minimum rack space in a frame or cabinet setting. The features and design allow for easy field termination of connectors, splicing, or installation of pre-terminated plug-n-play solutions. These economical enclosures and panels are ideal for small-enterprise applications.
SPECIFICATION
Fibre enclosures shall have a flush-mount bulkhead and shall be available in 1RU, 2RU, and 3RU versions to accommodate termination and splicing of fibre. Fibre panels shall have a flushmount bulkhead and shall be available in 1RU and 3RU versions to accommodate termination of fibre. Adapter bulkhead shall accept SC, LC, ST, MTP®, and QuickPort® adapter plates and plug-n-play MTP modules/cassettes. Fibre cable management for routing, storage, and protection shall be inclusive of patch cords, tight-buffer fibre, and backbone cables. Enclosures and panels shall be constructed of 16-gauge steel with a powder-coated black finish and be mountable in a 19-inch rack or cabinet frame.

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
• Enclosures and panels are sold empty (unloaded)
• Accepts SDX adapter plates, MTP cassettes, or splice modules
• Optional cable strain-relief clamp kits available for installation on side of enclosure or on rack post
• 19-inch enclosure/cabinet rack mount
• Enclosure is capable of storing up to three meters of 900 µm tight-buffered fibre per adapter opening
• Accessory kit for enclosure consists of cable ties, mounting ear screws, and ID label
• Accessory kit for panel consists of mounting screws
