This presence detector has a medium range and is a standard master detector that meets basic requirements for DALI daylight control in 3 zones. Extend the range with a DALI-2 secondary detector (353-651021) or combine it with other P46 DALI-2 secondary detectors in the P40/M40 series.
Save time on installation with SnapFit
Niko´s unique SnapFit system ensures a quick and stable installation in all types of suspended ceilings with or without removeable tiles. It is easy and quick to install the detector with a simple turn-and-click movement, which saves both time and effort during installation and disassambly. The screwless and easy accessible plug-in terminals make the detector easy to install. Cable relief and installation of the cable cover can be done without using tools.
Reliable detecting range tested according to IEC63180
The Niko P40 and M40 detector series have been tested according to the IEC63180 standard by a third party in a controlled environment. Automatic repeated tests ensure a reliable range.

• Detection range can be increased with up to 5 secondary detectors (353-651021)
• Suitable for controlling up to 64 DALI devices (the total power consumption must not exceed the performance of the master detector of max. 100mA)

• Auto-configuration when replacint a DALI coil/DALI device
• Adjustable PIR sensitivity (4 levels)
• Settings and configuration can be locked with a PIN code

Timeless design
The detector has a flat and discreet design making it blend in with the ceiling and fit into any interior. The colour can easily be changed to black simple by replacing the deco ring.
