This product is part of the XUM range, an offer of miniature photoelectric sensors. A diaphragm (or slit) changes the beam size of thru-beam sensors and focuses the light to detect smaller objects. This product is a vertical diaphragm for thru-beam sensors, reducing the sensing distance to 1m. Using this diaphragm, the minimum detectable object width is 0.5mm. This vertical diaphragm is made of stainless steel. Its dimensions are 0.5mm (width) x 6.4mm (height) and weighs 0.003kg. This diaphragm is dedicated to XUM2 thru-beam sensors. This diaphragm (or slit) is sold in lots of 2. The diaphragm can be pressed to snap onto the sensor front easily (thru-beam transmitter and receiver). The XUM range is for non-contact sensing up to 30metres of objects of any shape and any type.
