CAT4+ makes it easy and simple to locate cables underground very precisely, and with the + model you get the option to also measure the depth. The precision of both cable finders means that you can save a lot of digging time – because now you know exactly where the cables are, and you know where you should dig carefully and where you shouldn't.

CAT4 AND CAT4+ MAKE IT EASY TO LOCATE AND AVOID BURIED CABLES
CAT4 and CAT4+ are successors to the original CAT cable finder. The two cable finders have very similar functions, but there are minor differences between the two.
CAT4 is operated easily and quickly using two buttons, but with this cable finder you do not have the option of measuring depth. If it is necessary for you to be able to measure depth, CAT4+ is why you should get hold of it.
CAT4+ has patented dual frequency search and it ensures high precision. It also enables you to find smaller cables (such as patch cords) that other cable finders are unable to locate. To make use of this feature, you must use the Genny4 transmitter. The combination of dual frequency and boost makes it possible to find the cables that other cable finders cannot find.
