The new Strut Rail is a part of a complete system which incorporates several fixing methods and is compatible with several brackets ( CB, CRP ) and cable tray ranges (Cablofil wiremesh, P31 cable trays, GLO4 cable ladder), and different ranges of support. ZM Standard EN 10346. Products are manufactured with steel that has been pregalvanised by continuous immersion in a zinc alloy containing magnesium and aluminium. It is darker than GS/PG. It is a good alternative to HDG for environments in marine conditions with a high ammonia content, but not in sulphurous environments. Specific features of Zinc Magnesium:The Zinc Magnesium coating has the property of self-generating a protective layer on the sections. These are covered with magnesium hydroxychloride which creates a white film that provides extra resistance to corrosion. At the start of the ZnMg product’s life, it may be possible to see appear slight red rust spots on the sections but they are then covered with the previous protection. The quality of the product is not affected.
