DEVIpipeguard ™ 25T (25W / m @ 10 ° C) is a self-limiting heating cable used primarily for frost protection of pipes. The self-limiting function of the cable means that the power of the cable increases or decreases in relation to the ambient temperature. The cable retains its functionality even when shortened.
The outer casing is very resistant to harsh environmental conditions as well as corrosion, and it also protects against mechanical stresses. The cable must not expose to higher operating temperatures than 65 ° C in live mode or 85 ° C in non-live mode.
You should pay attention to the maximum length in relation to insurance value, as the cable has a starting current equal to approx. 2.3 times the nominal value.
The cables are not approved for use with drinking water.
