Smart set that combines the unique CP load reading from Elma 6100EVSE with the function for activating charging stations in Elma EVSE-200
Elma 6100EVSE is a robust true RMS AC / DC minimometer equipped with Bluetooth function. The instrument measures current, voltage, frequency, capacitance, resistance and throughput. In addition, the instrument is equipped with a special area for external current clamps and the possibility of measuring up to 3000A with flex pliers (ElmaFlex 430).
The unique EVSE function in the Elma 6100EVSE also converts CP signal from EVSE charging socket for electric car, directly to ampere value. If it is used e.g. with the Elma EVSE-200 (available as an accessory on this page) the CP DutyCycle signal from the charger can be read directly as amps, instead of the classic Hz% signal. Then set e.g. The Elma EVSE-200 CP switches to 32A, which simulates that the car "asks" for 32A, and reads the electric car charger's answer what it can offer, directly as e.g. 16A.
With the Bluetooth function and the free APP Elma Link which is available for both iOS and Android, the Elma 6100BT becomes a secure and smart documentation tool. See your display directly on your Android / iOS device and take measurements at a safe distance from dangerous voltage. View and record all values, curves and graphs directly on the phone. Save and attach image and comment to the measurement and share e.g. via mail.
Elma 6100EVSE has a large illuminated display and is equipped with a powerful LED flashlight, data hold max / min and auto power off. The instrument complies with EN61010-1 CAT III 600 V and comes with test leads, batteries and manual.
Elma EVSE-200 adapter activates charging stations, by simulating the connection of an electric car, and brings measuring points into standard banana sockets. Thus, e.g. simple function test, whether stand can be activated, performed with adapter only, voltages can be measured with standard multimeter or full function test and installation test performed with a suitable installation tester.
The Elma EVSE-200 also has several smart features.
CP signal in banana bushes. A charging socket EVSE and electric car EV communicate via frequency modulated signal. Then the car (Elma EVSE-200) asks e.g. about 32A, the charger might answer that there is 13A available. This signal can be read with a standard multimeter with DutyCycle Hz% function, or with the groundbreaking Elma 6100EVSE, which directly displays the signal as a current. The Elma EVSE-200 can also be connected to a load, e.g. a fan heater, up to 10A, directly into the socket on the adapter. This allows the charging plug to be tested loaded and connections can be checked with a single-frame camera.
Elma EVSE-200 can also do error simulation for missing PE connection and CP to PE error. Thus, the adapter can only be used to check the correct connection and functionality in the event of a fault.
The adapter comes with a standard type 2 plug and simple rotary switches for simulating both PP (load) and CP (Connection status) both ventilated (ABD) and non-ventilated (ABC) status. Delivered ready for use in a bag and can be used to advantage with installation testers from Elma instruments.
