The Harmony Solid State Relays are available for all kinds of interfacing, control and load switching.
It is the ideal solution for packaging, plastic molding, textile, and heating furnace applications.
They can also be used for lighting application where a silent switching is required i.e. on hospitals and theaters.
The benefit of a solid state relay is that it is designed for repetitive switching without any arc which makes them perfect for PID loop controls.
It is important to know the load of the application for choosing the correct solid state relay.
Solid state relays are separated into to AC-loads and DC-loads and cannot be used for both.
For AC-loads it is also important to know if zero-voltage or random switching is required.
Solid state relays generate a lot of heat which is why it is important to be aware of the ambient temperature of the panel and de-rate the relay if needed.
SSD1A335M7C2 is a single phase solid state relay for mounting directly on a 35 mm DIN-rail.
The build-in heat-sink makes it ready to use without the need for thermal calculation or any accessories and it can withstand up to 40 degrees ambient temperature without derating.
It has a AC-output with zero-voltage switching and a wide voltage range of 48..600 VAC and a maximum load of 35 A.
Supply voltage to the relay can be between 90-280 VAC and the terminal layout is made as a contactor with an input screw connector on the front and load terminals in the top and bottom.
A green status LED on the front indicate the input supply status.
SSD1A335M7C2 has a width of 22,5 mm. a depth of 133,8 mm and a height of 93,2 mm.
Wire size for the load terminals can be between 0,75..10 mm².
It is also possible to use a fork- or ring-lugs with an 8 mm. hole or the copper lug accessories SSRAL1 or SSRAL2.
This relay conforms to international standards like CSA C22.2 No 14, IEC 60950-1, IEC 60947-4-3 (EMC), IEC 61373 (railway), UL 508 and certifications like EAC, UL, and CSA.
