Flow-optimised press connector system for drinking water installations in acc. with DIN 1988 and DIN 50930-6 as well as heating installations, tested in acc. with DVGW worksheet W 534.
Press connectors
Safe and fast processing without calibration of the pipe ends through O-ring-free press technology in all dimensions. In this way, widening or calibration of the pipe-ends becomes superfluous and reduces the assembly times. The interaction between aerodynamic radii and minimal cross-section narrowings ensure the lowest pressure losses in press systems for multilayer pipes. This allows a smaller dimensioning of drinking water installations and reduces the pipeline volume.
SC-Contur
All sizes with SC-Contur – connections, which remain unpressed become visible when the system is filled. The SC-Contur is certified and fulfils the requirements of DVGW worksheet W 534, point 12.14, connectors with forced leakage.
During leakage tests with water, Viega guarantees the identification of unpressed connections in the pressure range 0.1 MPa–0.65 MPa, in the case of a dry leakage test with compressed air or noble gases from 22 hPa–0.3 MPa.

Note
The DVGW test mark is only valid for the use of original Viega parts – installation of non-Viega parts is not permitted. The pipes conform to the recommendations of KTW (Plastic in drinking water) of the German Federal Environmental Agency and the requirements of the DVGW worksheet W 270.
Can be installed inaccessibly without restrictions in acc. with VOB-C, Point 3.2.7. Warranty and ZVSHK transferred liability agreement.

Use of press tools
The functional safety of the Viega press connector systems is primarily dependent on the perfect condition of the press tools and press machines used. For this reason, for the production of press connections, we recommend the use of Viega press tools and their regular inspection by authorised service points.
