The Wiser Smoke Alarm battery uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke generated by fire. It also includes a temperature sensor that detects heat by rapid increase in temperature. When connected to the Wiser system(Wiser Gateway required), the device will send the notifications via the Wiser app. The sensor is equipped with a siren that emits sound of up to 85 dB while at the same time notifying in app and by light. The sensor can be placed anywhere inside the home and several smoke alarms can be connected to each other so one alarm will trigger sound from all alarms in case of a fire. The Wiser smoke alarm is powered by a built in battery lasting up to 10 years.
