MICROLUBE GL 261 fedt er et specielt smørefedt på mineraloliebasis. Den indeholder også speciel lithiumsæbe og MICROLUBE additivpakken, som sikrer en slidfri overfladefinish. Indkøringsslid er reduceret til et minimum. Derudover giver MICROLUBE additivpakken beskyttelse i grænsefriktionsregimet og forhindrer dermed tribo-korrosion. MICROLUBE GL 261 fedt har kapacitet til at absorbere høje tryk, og det har gode anti-korrosionsegenskaber.
